Clearly, Sinatra was very overrated. To the extent that his manager had to plant girls in the audience to swoon and scream and cry at different intervals. Sinatra was a creation who, despite his poor singing abilities, had some memorable songs that happened to fit his flat voice.
The greatest voice ever is open for debate. But was the best singer who ever lived. Meaning tone, diction, pace, taste, and sense of timing. Par excellence. The Chairman had the best producers (Nelson Riddle, Don Costa,) and orchestration which did not hurt either.
